Welcome to Biron Associates Ltd
Biron is a small company offering a broad range of Management and Consultancy services including Quality Management using ISO 9001:2008. This includes Security Management of high threat environments involving Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), Demining and Search techniques (including Search in support of Counter - Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED)).
As well as qualifications and experience in these fields, its founder, a former military engineer and Bomb Disposal Officer has had considerable international experience operating at a senior level within NATO, has been a senior Policy Adviser in the Ministry of Defence (MOD) on International Humanitarian Law and has commanded the UK's National Search Centre (a joint MOD/Home Office funded organisation) responsible for training C-IED procedures.
As a Government representative, he has negotiated, and advised on, the Ottawa Convention (banning anti-personnel mines), the Convention on Cluster Munitions (banning certain cluster munitions) and the Geneva based Certain Conventional Weapons Convention (covering lasers, mines and UXO).

Falkland Islands DPO
Biron has been operating with Fenix Insight Ltd to provide Quality Management services in the Falkland Islands Demining Programme Office (FI DPO) on behalf of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
